Since 1979
How It All Began
The idea for Can-Am Gymnastics was born in 1979, when two passionate coaches set out to create new opportunities for young athletes. Can-Am officially registered as an organization in 1980. What started as a small club running out of the Saskatoon Field House has grown into one of Saskatoon's most respected gymnastics training centers.
Today, we are proud to serve over 1500 active members across all age groups and skill levels, supported by a team of 30+ passionate coaches who share one common goal: to help every athlete discover what they are truly capable of.

Sheralynn Steele

Sheralynn provides leadership and direction for Can-Am Gymnastics, bringing years of experience, education, and a genuine passion for gymnastics to her role. She oversees the club’s operations, programs, and long-term growth while supporting coaches and staff in creating positive experiences for athletes and families.
Leigh stoddart
Competitive Head Coach & Competitive program manager
Leigh brings extensive gymnastics experience, technical knowledge, and a passion for athlete development to Can-Am. She is dedicated to developing strong, confident athletes while supporting coaches and creating quality competitive programming.
chelsey Salmaso
Recreational Program manager
Chelsey brings knowledge, education, and a passion for physical activity to her role at Can-Am. She leads the recreational program with a focus on quality programming, and creating positive experiences for athletes of all ages. She loves seeing athletes build confidence, stay active, and develop a lifelong love of gymnastics.
